Ben Veletean is a 2026 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Lebanon, OH who attends Springboro. Large frame with an athletic build showing room to fill out physically as well, making him projectable. Ran a 7.46 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back before working into the baseball well. Clean gather while confident with the glove. Quick transfer and release with accuracy to throws. Up to 79 mph across the diamond. Fundamentally sound with a good foundation to build off of. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start before striding out. Creates separation and fires the hands working into his swing. Gets long at times but generates big power because of it. Punished baseballs driving it deep to the middle of the field. Projects power down the road as well. Named to Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
