Alec Halter is a 2025 C/RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Dayton, OH who attends Dayton Christian. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.64 runner in the sixty, uses his speed aggressively on the bases. Primary catcher on defense, has good athletic quickness behind the plate and comes out of his crouch well, very compact and quick exchange and release on his throws, gets some carry on his throws. Also plays outfield with a much longer arm action and good carry on his throws there as well. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, with a good lower half shift into contact, loose and fluid swing with good extension out front, will get overly upper body rotational at times and be early with his front side, hits to all fields with a line drive swing. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high effort delivery. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mostly straight, still developing feel for a breaking ball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
