Brandon Bastian is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Stansbury Park, UT who attends Stansbury. Ran a 7.34 seance sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium compact build. Throws from a high three-quarters slot with good rhythm and tempo to the delivery staying balanced in the lower half as he comes to the plate. Was able to get the fastball to both sides of the plate at 72-75 mph and mixed in a curveball with later depth in the low 60's as well as a fading changeup at 68 mph. Fields the ball out front at first base and gathers in a taller position as he gains ground toward the target with developing footwork. Right-handed hitter, uses a toe tap trigger. Worked the ball middle to opposite field with flashes of bat speed as the bat comes enters the attacks zone on a steeper path. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
