2023 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Vincent “Vinny” Pezzuolo is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bessemer, PA who attends Mohawk. Thin frame at 6-foot right now that projects for added size and muscle down the road. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed very crisp and fluid actions with the leather out front, has bounce to the feet and showed the ability to range laterally to both sides with comfort using the fore/backhand, dropped the slot as well. Made accurate throws to first on every throw up to 81-mph. Very good projectable actions at the spot. Right-handed hitter, slightly open and even base, high hands and back elbow set, hanging leg lift trigger, creates good length through the zone with a flatter barrel path, basic and direct swing with feel for the barrel and showed he could control it, some whip out front produced consistent liners to all fields in the round. Consistent ability to get extended out front and barrel it up well. Good body to grow into, chance to stick on the left side of the infield down the road with the given actions and bounce, bat should hit for average moving forward. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
