Jared James is a 2025 3B/RHP, SS, OF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Sprayberry. Features a small, wiry build. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and on the infield. Showcased sound footwork on the dirt. Ranges profiles well for a corner spot. Soft hands work through hops well. Dias accurate with throws across. Showed a patient approach during outfield workouts. Hands play at the position, catching it well with momentum into throws. Displayed a quick arm action into a quick release. Threw 77 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even stance into a simple swing. Swings on a slightly lofted path with bat speed present. Looks to drive the ball pullside. Can generate hard hit contact when in-sync. Right-handed pitcher. Uses tall and fall mechanics into a short stride down the mound. Hides the ball well throughout short arm action and into 3/4 slot release. Fastball sat 75-79 mph with slight cut action at times. Offering is thrown for strikes and stays off barrels well. Flashed a mid-60’s curveball with short, downward action. Still developing feel for the offering. Good student.
