Alex Calvario is a 2027 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Shohola, PA who attends Delaware Valley. Calvario works from a medium athletic looking build with additional room to add strength in the future. Starting from the IF, he showcased carry across the diamond up to 79 mph with the ability to change slots on the run. The footwork should continue to see refinement as a '27 grad but young arm talent is present. Calvario also worked off the mound where he touched 78 mph from a compact arm stroke and high 3/4 slot. He attempted to extend down the mound with a looping curve also present in the arsenal. Offensively, the righty started from an even balanced base with a high hand set and flashes of compact bat speed through the zone. He swung with intent to pepper the pull side of the field, posting an exit velo of 72 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
