Benjamin Faigin is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Lean young build. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand load, limited lower half shift into contact, has some hand quickness and gets the barrel out, mostly pull side contact, downhill swing plane that will put some back spin on the ball at times and create carry, has some projection as a hitter. 8.34 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, comes to the ball well and fields it out front, has good footwork and carries his momentum through his throws, has nice carry on his throws for his age and was accurate. Also played first base but was much more comfortable in the outfield. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a long stride down the mound and an over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, breaking ball showed some 12/6 downer depth and froze hitters well. Good young athlete who will continue to improve. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
