Joseph Napolitano is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Montvale, NJ who attends Pascack Hills. Medium frame and current build with wiry strength and a lot of time to add more physicality. Primary position OF, working quickly but under control to the ball as he presents the glove out front. Good midline transfer and squares up well to throw. Abbreviated crow hop and. releases quickly with compact arm action showing throws up to 81 mph back to bags. Reps at 1B as well with similar methodical actions and a feel for what he's doing around the bag. Accurate, on point glove action with accurate feeds up to 77 mph here. Secondary LHP with a fairly refined delivery from the full windup and operating from the 3B side of the rubber. Stays inline well down the slope and doesn't allow hitter to pick up ball until late. FB up to 75 mph but it plays better than the pure velocity would indicate. Vertical CB in the low-70s with a chance to be a real pitch long term. RHH working from a stance deep in his legs and well balanced. Tight hands to start with a bit of barrel tilt to load. Inward toe-tap trigger for timing and showed some bat speed with strength in his hands. Middle of the field approach, creating regular solid contact gap to gap. Has a real chance to be very offensive once strength kicks in. A lot of skills to develop further for this young athlete.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
