Eli Koch is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Sevierville, TN who attends Sevier County. Large, lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.59 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher, starts delivery from the middle of the rubber and deploys a full windup with quick tempo and long, loose arm action with present extension out front with 3/4 slotted release. Flexibility helps operation, as he is able to get over front side ok, filling the bottom half of the zone. Fastball topped at 72-mph with straight action and occasional life. Curveball secondary at 61-mph with 1/7 shape when right with depth. Secondary first baseman with feel for the leather and arm strength that produced throws at 69-mph to bases. Sound foundation with agility off the bag and ability to work through the ball with one-handed funnel. Left-handed hitter with narrow, square stance and low hand set in the box. Upon heel strike, hip drive leads hands through the zone with direct, compact swing and level to high plane. Gap-to-gap result, and bat speed which project to improve with added strength. Excellent student.
