Gamaliel Martinez is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Arrowhead Christian Academy. Shorter athletic build with some present strength. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and comes out of his crouch well, has good footwork into his throws, stays compact in his actions and repeats them well, game actions in drills, plenty of arm strength for the position at the next level. Also plays the outfield and shows his athleticism well there, is aggressive through the ball with a long and loose arm that produced strong and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load, has an aggressive swing approach and swings hard, line drive contact to all fields, has some barrel skills. Good student.
