Parker New is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, begins with a chest high leg lift and utilizes a simple and repeatable operation; compact arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, taller finish at release, pitch mostly true in life through the zone but comes out of hand cleanly. Located better in second inning of work and got on top of slider better, up to 62 mph with horizontal break through the zone. Fields the ball closer to body at first base, similar short arm action on throws, showed comfort dropping slot on the charge to complete play. Left-handed hitter, begins with a balanced and even stance with a high hand set in the box. Repeats swing well and stays shorter and inside the ball throughout swings path, shows a present handle for the barrel. Able to generate some lift to pull side when on time, can continue to implement additional weight shift through lower half, steady bat-to-ball contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
