2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Cole West is a 2025 OF/1B with an athletic, proportional 5-11 170 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Citrus Valley HS. Started off the event clocking a 6.99 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder with a quick first step and some speed to go get the baseball in the outfield. Fundamental footwork to the baseball, maintains some momentum working through the baseball fielding off to the side. Longer arm action with excellent arm strength and accuracy throwing to bases. Has traits to develop into a next level outfielder. Hit from a traditional balanced stance with leg kick timing at the plate. Slight uphill bat path through the zone with excellent bat speed, concentrated effort to get the baseball in the air with the barrel out front and a high finish to the swing. Showed some ability to drive the baseball to both gaps. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
