Landon Runyon is a 2024 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Ludowici, GA who attends Long County. Long, lean good athletic build with plenty of room to put on additional physicality in the future. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Primary position RHP, using a classic over the head delivery, short step to side before reaching high leg lift over the rubber. Quick cadence to his operation, inward turn with shoulders at balance to load. Deep inline arm path with some quickness, working into a 3/4 arm angle. Turns well in the core to build arm speed and when inline at foot strike fills up the zone at a high level. Quality 3-pitch mix starting with lively FB up to 87 mph riding through the zone with slightly above average spin. Late bitting SL with good spin and real CH that is out pitch option as well. Should be trending upward. Reps on the IF as well, sitting back a bit but making plays. Hands are solid and the arm plays with good carry with feeds up to 85 mph across diamond and 86 mph from the OF. RHH starting with an even base, sitting in his legs with a hanging leg lift trigger. Aggressive swing working gap-to-gap, spraying line drives to all fields. Consistent feel for the barrel and good projection as a two-way athlete if he chooses. Outstanding student that is uncommitted.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
