2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 15)
Jacob Poletto is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Monsignor Edward Pace. Smaller frame with a very athletic frame. Ran a 6.52 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball, gathers clean and funnels to a longer arm action, solid arm strength clocked up to 85 mph and made accurate one-hop throws throughout. Also worked out in the infield, fast twitch and athletic, good footwork, builds into throws some and arm strength plays. Switch-hitter, showed well on both sides with more juice on the left. Gets excellent separation from the left side with real jump off the barrel, able to send balls out to pull; more contact-oriented from the right with good feel for barrel and able to spray the field with firm line drives. Great student. Named to 2022 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
