Hayden Chason is a 2022 OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Daphne, AL who attends Daphne. Medium frame with a lean and projectable build. Ran a 7.57 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes a good line to the ball and works through it well, can be late with the glove at times but carries momentum and releases from an over the top slot with improving throws as he adds arm strength. Righthanded hitter, sets up bent in the knees and uses a simple trigger for timing; works inside the ball and can get extended with the hands well, able to create leverage through the zone and swings hard generating some jump off the barrel when he squares it. Good student.
