Tyce Powers is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Trinity. Large frame with a lean build showing broad shoulders and some room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 6.95 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift. Fast paced in the motion as he sits into the backside a bit before driving off. Quick arm as he released from a higher slot. Landing a touch closed off creating some natural deception. Proved to be a real tough at-bat for left-handed hitter. Fastball up to 85 mph with arm side run. Flashed just a changeup for secondaries in the mid-70's that had some late bite to it. Big upside present and will make huge strides as he adds another pitch to the arsenal. Secondary Outfielder, aggressive to the baseball as he showed off the athleticism. Clean gather to the side as he carried weight well through the baseball. Clean arm stroke and was accurate around the bag as he threw it 86 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, even to start as he works into a low leg lift to stride. Fires the hands as he stays linear through the zone. Looked to impact out front and drive it back up the middle. Proved to have some pop to the pull-side when he timed it up correctly. Good Student. Named to Class of 2024 All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
