Landon Ludwig is a 2025 C/RHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends Benedictine Military. Recorded a 7.70 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher sets high and to the side behind the plate gaining good ground as he catches and releases quickly while accurately throwing to second base at a recorded 75 mph and a pop time of 2.08. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a wide and open stance, high hands, and a deep backside load. Ludwig has a short, quick compact swing with some barrel control working the ball middle to opposite field approach. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves from a full wind up with a short sidestep into a multiple leg lift for deception as he drops the back leg and rides it down the mound. He has good control of his fastball as it jumps on top of the hitters with sink and cut on the fastball topping 80 mph. Ludwig also mixes in a tight 12/6 breaking ball out of the same arm slot showcasing great pitching ability.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
