2022 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers
Connor Tongring is a 2025 C/1B/OF/UT with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from West Allenhurst, NJ who attends Ocean Twp. Working exclusively from his spot behind the dish, Tongring displayed a direct in line transfer with consistency to the release, producing accurate throws down to second. He posted a 2.19 pop time with further room to develop arm strength and mature. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a repeatable balanced stroke that generated line drive impact back up the middle. He shifted the weight well through contact and flashed quickness to the hands, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
