Luis Lechuga III is a 2024 2B/1B, SS, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Apple Valley. Recorded a 7.86 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, high waisted frame with square shoulders and plenty of room to add strength. Primary infielder with good lateral range to either side, a clean funnel and developing arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Secondary outfielder with proper footwork into the fielding process, gathering cleanly off to the side and works slightly uphill into release. Recorded arm strength up to 69 mph during drills from an over-to-top arm slot. Right-handed hitter that this from a wide, crouched stance with open front foot and high hand set. Incorporates toe-tap trigger for timing and rotational lower half mechanics to get his swing started. Middle-of-the field approach with line drive swing path and good separation. Displayed some feel for the barrel that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
