Wesley Moering is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Paulding. A taller frame with a slender & lean build. Ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who showed off the glove with smooth actions up the middle. He worked into the throws well and threw 83 mph across the diamond. He let throws go from a lower slot with some whip to the arm. Had some bounce to the feet and showed off a good feel for actions working with the backhand. He also worked out as an outfielder, throwing from a lower slot with a quick release. He had a quick first step and fields off to the side with fast feet and a clean transfer working into throws that were accurate to the bag at 83 mph. He's a right-handed hitter with a wider base and higher-set hands, and the back elbow up. He showed some bat speed and was able to impact the ball well out front and do damage with the barrel during his round of BP swings. He was able to elevate pull-side at times to do damage. Added a base hit in-game as well. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a side step into a leg lift up above the belt. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot and created some whip to the arm thru release. The fastball was a bit heavy, showing some arm-side run and sink to it up to 80 mph. Showed it more in the mid-70s with some natural cut to it, being a slight change of pace from the regular fastball. He also mixed in an 11/5-shaped curveball with good depth. Heavy fastball attack, working the arm-side third of the zone for the most part. Punched out 2 hitters during his outing.
