Thomas Bethel is a 2023 2B/RHP, SS, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Darlington HS. Recorded a 7.11 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room to add strength. Primary second baseman with smooth hands and some twitch to his actions. Shorter arm action with quick feet and showed throws recorded up to 72 mph. Righthanded hitter with a low hand set and small leg lift to start swing. Loads up onto his back side with a gap to gap approach. Bent knee stance with a longer swing and pull side intent to the stroke. Can create contact to all fields and will improve with strength. Good student.
