Garrett Swan is a 2022 C/IF, OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Grass Lake, MI who attends Lumen Christi Catholic High Sc. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 6.98 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, up high in the stance with runners on and a slight side saddle. Proved to be athletic in the stance. Received the baseball well and worked quickly into release on throw downs. Accurate to the bag as he recorded a pop time of 1.84 seconds. Fundamentally sound and projects behind the dish going forward. Secondary Infielder, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure to keep it in front of him. Clean gather as he works into transfer and release. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 86 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow with weight on his front side a bit. Works into separation as the hands get deep. Longer path as he generates a good bit of bat speed. Pull-side power approach and proved he could leave the yard when he times it up properly. Power type bat and projects as such. Great Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
