Jace Stancil is a 2024 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Summerville. Medium build with present amounts of strength. Primary catcher, shows an accurate arm to the bag with promising arm strength at the next level. Confident round with sound actions and ability to get it to the bag on time. Secondary right-handed pitcher, high-three quarter slot with a leg lift up to the belt. Showed a fastball up to 84 mph that can spot to the arm side. Flashed mid-70s changeup with subtle arm side fade that forces whiffs. Also flashes a low-70s curveball with 11-5 shape and depth for strikes. Right-handed hitter, wide base with a high hand set. Direct path with some strength to the pull side. Creates length and keeps it simple with some strength in the hands. Present two-way ability with some upside. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
