Nicholas Zarski is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Joseph by the Sea. Zarski has strength present in the build with plenty of time to fill out and mature as a '25 grad. From his primary IF spot, he flashed range to the arm side with developing velocity across the diamond up to 78 mph. Expect the glove and footwork to refine as Zarski gets older. The righty used simple repeatable mechanics and a 3/4 slot on the bump to consistently locate down in the zone and record outs efficiently. He sequenced a curveball with both vertical and horizontal plane to keep hitters off balance. Offensively, Zarski showed the ability to get the barrel out in front and produce hard gap to gap contact. He created lift in the bat path with speed in the hands, posting an exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 5.85 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
