Jack Lupo is a 2025 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-4 107 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI who attends . Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength with maturity. Primary middle infielder with sound footwork while rounding and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front cleanly and worked through exchange efficiently. Flashed good first step angles while moving to the baseball to each side. Showed developing arm strength while releasing from a three-quarters slot, topped at 59 mph. Also worked out defensively from the outfield displaying compact, heavier footwork while closing to the baseball. Works through pick up out front and worked through exchange with a clean arm circle. Throws produced occasional on line carry topping at 62 mph. Right handed hitter with a spread, even stance. Clean hand path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout swing with good feel for the barrel. Consistently worked the baseball to the middle of the field on a line. Will continue to improve with maturity and strength. Also pitched utilizing a side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters slot. Displayed good feel for the zone with a fastball that generated occasional downhill tilt in the the upper 50's, topped at 60 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape with looser spin and occasional depth in the low 50's. Also flashed a changeup offering in the low 50's that produced occasional sink. Good student.
