Brett Lookhart is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Quinton, VA who attends New Kent. Larger frame with a filling out, young build. Will make a big jump with physical gains. Ran a 8.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Firstbaseman staying behind the baseball as he funnels it deep. Showing a whippy arm putting throws on the bags. Raw feel for it but a great frame for the position. Secondary Righthanded pitcher utilizing his frame well as he showed drop and drive mechanics. Releasing from an uphill angle as he worked from a fast paced motion. Attacked the zone early in the count as he ran his fastball up to 69 MPH. Righthanded hitter showing balanced stance hands close to body. Keeps hands inside and shows a linear swing path. Would create more pop with some extension as he shows strength in hands. Looks to pull the baseball. Good Student.
