Cameron Pengelly is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Palmerton, PA who attends Palmerton Area. Medium build with square shoulders and long arms for his size, plenty of growing ahead of him. Works from the stretch with a slow paced delivery, compact 3/4's arm strock, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the mid-60's, topped out at 66 mph, works to both sides of the plate and keeps the ball down in the zone consistently and challenges hitters. Also threw a soft 11/5 curveball that he landed well and kept hitters off balance. Nice effective outing, competed well. 9.36 runner in the sixty, plays infield when not on the mound, makes accurate throws and gets outs on the routine plays. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly open stance with a hanging front leg trigger and limited lower half shift, showed some barrel to ball skills, hits to all fields.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
