Zachary Johnson is a 2022 OF/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from St. Petersburg, FL who attends Northside Christian. Recorded a 7.06 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with some lean muscle throughout. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process. Displayed clean funnel off his front foot, gathering cleanly and maintained momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 74 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an slightly crouched open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Contact oriented stroke with short, direct swing path and some present bat speed. Middle-of-the field approach with consistent bat-to-ball skills and occasional line drive impact. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
