Cameron Veitengruber is a 2025 RHP/3B, IF, OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works out of the stretch, steady tempo and quickens throughout delivery, tends to come down mound early with lower half but quick and loose arm action helps stay on time. Works on top of the ball well and creates leverage, fastball topped out at 76 mph, mostly true in life and filled the strike zone. Maintains arm speed on changeup well with short sinking life; flashed a short slider up to 67 mph and can mix it more often. Fields the ball out front in the outfield and works through it well, shows range, tight arm action with a higher slot, accurate throws and repeats nicely. Young actions and footwork in the infield, fields out front with a wide base, shows athleticism. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow with an even base; weight starts on back side and can implement a weight shift moving into contact. Short path to the ball, contact oriented approach working the middle and pull side parts of the ball, opens front side early at times, uses a toe tap trigger for timing.
