Madden Weaver is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Reedsville, PA who attends Mifflin County. Medium young build with lots of room to continue to get stronger. Two way prospect who graded out higher on the mound at this event. 7.61 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active choppy footwork to the ball, fields from a wide base, still developing consistency with his glove positioning, arm is his best defensive tool with good carry on his throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a busy hand load, gets to his front side early, hard upper body rotation, lots of moving parts with time up, swings hard and has some young bat speed but will need to simplify his approach as he continues to develop. Has a multi-part delivery on the mound with an over the top arm slot, has deception to his delivery along with plenty of energy. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with big downhill angle at times. Showed some tightness to his curveball with a bit calmer release than his fastball, also flashed a developing change up. Talented young athlete with lots of projection ahead. Very good student. Named to the Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
