2020 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Jason Fetrow is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Galloway, NJ who attends Cedar Creek. Recorded a 8.75 second sixty-yard dash time. Projectable frame with long levers and some present lower half strength. Young look with plenty to time to physically mature. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork and slightly segmented fielding actions. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph across the diamond in drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a developing feel for pitching; deliberate delivery and long arm action on the backside of the arm swing. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for most of his outing, topping out at 71 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Secondary offerings are still in the developmental stages, flashing varying shapes and loose spin traits to it. Right-handed hitter with a simple negative leg lift trigger for timing, slightly uphill swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Middle-to-opposite field approach with best impact when he is able to get the barrel out in front. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and maturity. Excellent Student.
