2022 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ryan Selvaggi is a 2024 OF/RHP, UT with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lamar. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.12 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with crouched set, stays short to zone but works uphill, strength to hands/wrists, developing consistency to complex timer, good strength and bat speed combination, has power to pull-side now with projection for more. Worked out in the outfield, moves aggressively to the ball and works through it, clean glovework, full windup and several steps into release, legitimate arm strength with big carry, clocked up to 89 mph on throws with developing accuracy. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
