Zaren Nila is a 2022 RHP/2B, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Etiwanda. Medium frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary right handed pitcher, throws from a high three quarter arm slot, Worked a two pitch mix and flashed a change up. The fastball sat 75-77 mph, worked the top of the zone. He was able to throw his curveball with two different spins, a 11/5 and a 12/6 which created a lot of swing and misses. Also worked out in the infield, moved well laterally, still developing glove actions, made accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from an even base with a regular stride. Contact hitter. Excellent student.
