Carter Hinds is a 2023 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Method Charter. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a high back elbow load with a good lower half shift into contact, well controlled line drive swing with good barrel control and adjustability, worked the ball gap to gap and stayed behind pitches well, projects as a hitter with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Aggressive to the ball in the outfield with a quick transfer and release, developing arm strength on his throws. Also pitched, has simple repeatable mechanics with a compact arm circle and a high 3/4's arm slot. Repeated his delivery well and threw strikes with a mid-70's fastball and sweeping mid 60's breaking ball. Good student.
