Ryan Sveningson is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Ladera Ranch, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Lean and lanky build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a very compact arm stroke that hides the ball well, tight 3/4's arm slot, creates some plane to the plate but can extend better through release with his long arms. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with nice running life, works mostly to the arm side and will need to improve his ability to get his fastball to the glove side. Tunnels his slider well with his fastball, best sliders at lower velocities where he can consistently land them for strikes. Flashed a developing change up. 7.29 runner. Good student.
