Alan Zimmerman is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B, UT with a 5-7 110 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball to side, shows athleticism in actions and will continue to refine overall fundamentals, lower slot on throws, occasionally gets uphill at release; glove plays in the infield out front at the ball, looseness to actions and moves well on feet in the dirt. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery, leg lift up to core, tends to land open with strike foot coming down the mound. Medium length arm action through the backside working to a mid three-quarters release point; fastball topped out at 74 mph with running life through the zone, works with quick tempo. Curveball is best pitch at present, feel for it and able to land for strikes with sharpness through the zone and 11-5 shape, up to 63 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, slightly open stance in the box. Longer swing path through the zone, contact oriented approach, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Line drive contact off of the barrel, uses a simple moving into contact, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength, works to all fields and shows ability to adjust. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
