Peyton Goolsby is a 2025 C/2B/3B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Arlington, TN who attends Arlington. Slender young build with some present strength and lots of growing ahead of him. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low behind the plate and has good lower half flexibility and life, comes out of his crouch well, short and compact arm action with good carry on his throws for his age, gets on top of his throws well. Also plays the infield and was solid at third base, has a quick transfer and good carry on his throws with a longer arm action than he showed behind the plate. Left handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated spread stance with a front foot turn load and limited lower half shift, has quick hands and some young bat speed, solid pull line drive contact, can use his quick lower half more to help generate bat speed. Nice overall athlete with lots of projection ahead. Excellent student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect Showcase.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
