Cody Krantz is a 2022 C/1B, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Haines City, FL who attends Haines City Senior HS. Recorded a 7.24 second 60-yard dash time. Younger build with a projectable build and room to add strength. Primary catcher with two-pieced mechanics and fairly quick footwork. Transfer works well and gets the ball out quickly. Pure catch and throw skills are advanced with a best recorded pop time of 2.00 seconds. Right-handed hitter with an aggressive approach and a small leg lift. Direct with hands and shows jump off the bat. Good strength at contact with a middle of the field approach. Spread stance and loads hands over the plate. Flashed the ability to pull with some strength but operated mostly to the middle of the field with line drive contact. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
