Alex Bello is a 2029 3B/RHP with a 5-9 163 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Medium, square shouldered frame with young build and room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, deliberate tempo to footwork, funnels cleanly ranging to his glove side, loose arm action on throws across the diamond and shows accuracy from a lower slot across diamond. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, big leg kick with coil at top of delivery. Medium take back into a three-quarters release, fastball topped out at 79 mph with short running life at times, worked around the zone consistently. Slider will continue to develop, up to 68 mph with two-plane action and horizontal break. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and even stance, short leg raise for timing in the box. Shows strength in hands, steady barrel to the pull side with some strength coming off. Consistent showing with best contact to pull side showing carry. Will continue to refine and unlock more strength.
