Luke Ludwig is a 2026 RHP/MIF, OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Vista Murrieta. Lean athletic build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, has a drop and drive delivery with a longer back side arm action. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot, with good arm whip. Commanded well and threw a lot of strikes, the fastball sat 68-71 mph with arm side run. Mixed in a slider that sat 64 mph with tight spin. Also worked out in the outfield, displayed good fluid actions. Came to the ball well, worked through the ball with smooth hands and a quick transition. Made firm accurate throws with good carry, was clocked up to 75 mph on throws from the outfield. At the plate, hits from a wider base with a high back elbow, displayed a long gentle swing favoring his pull side. Great student.
