Khalyl Perez is a 2024 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Montgomery. Medium frame with a slightly stock build. Ran a 7.92 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up low in his stance and pops out of the crouch well, shows quickness to his transfers and gets rid of the ball very quickly off his back side showing slight uphill carry to his throws. Right-handed hitter, uses a simple trigger for timing, has good length and bat speed to the stroke, rotates his lower half hard and on time generating strong impact of the ball out front. Has the strength to generate carry to either gap and showed good consistency in finding the barrel for the age.
