2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
RJ Holmes is a 2025 SS/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Menifee, CA who attends Vista Murrieta. Taller and athletic look with good balance in current strength and future projection. A primary infielder, very quick mover with decisive angles moving to both sides of the infield. Soft hands and can transfer and release from multiple angles with accuracy. Also worked out in the outfield and has an explosive approach to the ball and solid 88 mph arm strength. The body control and feel for angles stood out. A right-handed hitter, balanced stance and a short leg lift trigger. Easy bat speed and big intent in the box, looking to whip the barrel through contact and hit to the pull side with authority. Good hand speed and the bat to ball skills to match a middle of the order type future.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
