Nathan Toolan is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Venice, FL who attends Venice Senior. Toolan works out of a lean projectable build with plenty of time to fill out and add strength to the frame. From his primary outfield spot, Toolan got behind the ball successfully and put himself in good positions to throw. As he matures, expect the velocity to continue ticking up. On the mound, the lefty worked exclusively from the stretch with clear arm side run on the fastball. Offspeed stuff should become more dangerous as the mechanics refine. Offensively, Toolan generated good rotation from the lower half out of a narrow even stance to start. He consistently got the barrel out in front and used the pull side of the field. Ran a 7.53 sixty yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
