Amari McCoy is a 2024 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Archer. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, has room to develop physically moving forward. Posted a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows quickness to footwork moving to the ball, hands work out front at the ball and shows sound body control, will continue to refine overall actions, has some arm strength on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a straight stance in the box and works with a long swing path through the zone while getting extended out front with a high finish through the point of contact. Looks to lift at the point of contact and able to generate some loft when on time, showed bat speed and jump off of the barrel when squared and showed a smooth stroke in live action, easy swing overall. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
