Sam Tomczak is a 2025 C/3B, MIF, OF with a 5-9 156 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Allatoona. Medium build with emerging strength and a lot of time to add to frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in a nice 7.04 seconds. Primary C, working from a deep game like stance squared up to the plate. Glove work is firm, letting the ball get deep to allow him to transfer at the midline and get the arm up on time. Gains ground well leading to accurate throws on the bag up to 72 mph with a best pop time of 2.05 seconds. Reps in the OF and on IF working methodically to the ball and bending at the waist to present glove out front. Late glove at times losing some feel but good tight transfer showing throws up to 78 mph. RHH working from an open and upright start letting the hands eat as he accelerates to contact. There is strength at impact in the hands but does get a bit rotational losing some barrel accuracy. When synched up and on time created loud contact and found hard line drives in game action. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
