Jacob Mason is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Navarre, FL who attends Navarre. Showed a medium frame with an already filling out build with a strong lower half. Ran a 7.98 second sixty yard dash. Primary Lefthanded pitcher working from an over the top arm slot while staying behind the baseball as he drives with the lower half. Hit his spots while showing repeatable mechanics. Easy effort with more in the tank down the road. Secondary Firstbaseman sitting back on the baseball while catching it deep in his stance. Showed good hips as he made athletic turns. Throws near target at times. Lefthanded hitter starting from a balanced look with his front heel in the air. Smaller leg lift that is quick while putting it right back down. Quiet hands with a small bat wrap as he looks to pull the baseball. Proved he can create some leverage at times as he lifted the baseball. Good Student.
