Steven Mulqueen is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Wantagh, NY who attends Wellington C Mepham. Medium, athletic looking frame with some lean muscle throughout and room to add strength as he physically matures. Recorded a 6.96 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Fields cleanly out in-front, gathers smoothly into a well-maintained crow hop and recorded arm strength up to 82 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, even base with a tight hand set, high back elbow and subtle leg lift trigger. Calm approach with simple, repeatable stroke with plenty of present bat speed and strength in his hands. Short, direct swing path with feel for the barrel and easy gap-to-gap power potential. Fundamentally sound prospect with current offensive prowess and tons of upside remaining. Excellent Student. Named to the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
