Max Adelman is a 2023 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Recorded a 7.95 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a strong and physical build. Primary right-handed pitcher with a compact arm circle, comes from a high three-quarters slot. Utilizes a half turn and an online stride towards the plate. Fastball played true and straight, showed solid control and command of the pitch. Curveball has deep 12-6 shape with limited tightness/bite, landed a couple in the zone and showed feel for the pitch. Also featured a changeup to complete the three-pitch mix, kept the same arm speed and showed slight fading action. Good feel for all three pitches. Secondary third baseman, does a nice job of fielding balls out front and getting into position with his feet, showed developing softness in the hands with some hesitance to the actions at present. Right-handed hitter with a square and upright stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger and a flat bat path through the zone. Shows average bat speed and long, pull-oriented swing. Will improve as he keeps the swing more compact and keeps the head quiet. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
