Jay Jacinto is a 2022 OF/RHP, C, 1B, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends V R Eaton. Recorded a 7.21 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and lean build with a good chance to add additional strength. Primary outfielder with a passive approach, waits back on it and fields it off the front foot. Long and loose arm action with good arm speed, arm strength is a real tool for him, recorded throws up to 88 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a shorter arm action with stab, has some whip to the arm action and comes from a high three-quarters slot. Has present arm speed, mixes well between the fastball and curveball, will improve as he further develops his secondary pitch and command. Right-handed hitter with a narrow stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a leg lift trigger and a long swing path, can impact the ball to his pull side and showed the ability to elevate during BP. Strictly pull approach, will need to impact out front consistently to be successful. Great student. Named to the 2021 Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
