2023 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers (Wed-Thur)
David Nunez is a 2026 OF/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Oradell, NJ who attends River Dell Regional. Medium, physical build with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.18 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process. Fields properly off his front foot, transfers efficient and aggressively into release and showed some arm strength up to 82 mph during drills. Secondary infielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Showed lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in-front and produced similar arm strength up to 81 mph during the infield portion of the defensive workout. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hanging trigger. Compact, line drive stroke with rotational lower half mechanics and some present bat speed. Whole field approach with some lift and backspin when he stays in his lower half, showed developing feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Fundamentally sound prospect with some positional versatility and physical upside. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
